Our default setup for Premium streams includes the primary mountpoint (Mount A), a configurable playlist hosted in Timbre, and an integrated silence to prevent the loss of listeners in the event of a client-side disruption.
Adding a secondary encoder will allow your stream and listeners to remain connected in the event that SharpStream suffers from a disruption to service on Mount A.
If you would like to add a secondary encoder to your failover hierarchy, please contact customer support. Our engineers will manually perform the necessary config configurations to accommodate this change.
