The failover to B-feeds is an ingest level redundancy measure designed to provide stability in the event that SharpStream A-feeds ingest server requires maintenance, suffers from upstream provider issues or any unexpected events preventing the streaming software on the server from executing its core tasks
Your A-feed will not failover to B-feeds in the event that an incident stemming from the client-side contribution is observed. Rather, the standard failover procedure will be upheld, resulting in the stream failing over to the Timbre Playlist (if set up) and finally the in-built silence file if the Timbre Playlist is not configured or unavailable.
