The first step in syndicating your podcast is locating your RSS feed in Timbre. This RSS feed is used to relay your podcast information to the syndicator.
Timbre automatically keeps your RSS feed up-to-date with any changes and additions you make.
You can find your podcast RSS link in any of the "Share" dropdown menus found across Timbre. Simply head to the Podcasts page, the Podcast Management page or the Sharing tab in the Podcast Management page.
Submitting your Podcast to Apple Podcasts
Step 1: Create an Apple Podcasts Connect account
Head to Apple Podcasts Connect to either log in, or create an account.
Step 2: Select "Add a show with an RSS feed."
Step 3: Enter RSS feed URL gathered from Timbre.
Step 4: Select user permissions for your podcast.
Step 5: Select "Add" to complete this portion of the setup.
Step 6: Review podcast and set Content Rights on the Show Information page.
Step 7: In the Availability settings on the left, provide information on:
- Countries or Regions: Choose the area you want your show to be available in.
- Distribution: Choose to make your feed publicly available or not.
- Show Release: Select the publishing date for your podcast.
Step 8: Click Save and then publish your podcast.
If there are any issues validating your RSS feed, a warning message will appear indicating where attention is needed.
