When you set a Scheduler Event it will appear in the events calendar. The calendar displays an overview of the past and upcoming events you have scheduled in Timbre. You can also add and delete scheduler instances from the calendar page.

Navigating the Calendar

There are four different view options for the calendar; Month, Week, Day and List. By default, the calendar will display the date range containing the current date. To change the view click the corresponding button at the top right corner of the calendar window.


In any of the available views, you can click on an event to see more information about it. This will display a window with the start/end time of the scheduled event and its duration along with the source stream and event description. You also have the option of deleting the event.


Month



The month view displays scheduled events in the calendar month - on dates where events are/were scheduled you will see the thumbnail of the event artwork alongside its title. The coloured dot next to the item indicates the event type. Orange indicates a one-off event and purple indicates a recurring event. If you want to hide recurring recordings to more clearly display the one-off recordings you have scheduled, toggle the "show recurring events?" checkbox.


If the dot next to an event scheduled in the past is red, this indicates that there was an error with the recording and the associated Item may not have been recorded or only partially recorded.*


Use the arrow buttons to browse upcoming/past months. Click the "Today" button to return to the current period. To refresh the calendar view to reflect newly scheduled events, click the "refresh calendar" button.


Week



The week view displays scheduled events in a weekly timeline view - on dates/times where events are/were scheduled you will see a coloured box with the event title information. The colour of the box indicates the event type. If you want to hide recurring recordings, toggle the "show recurring events?" checkbox.


The blue line indicates the current time and date so you can see which events are currently being recorded or about to be recorded.


Use the arrow buttons to browse upcoming/past weeks (week commencing Monday). Click the "Today" button to return to the current week. To refresh the calendar view to reflect newly scheduled events, click the "refresh calendar" button.


Day



The day view similarly displays scheduled events in a day-by-day timeline view - on times when events are/were scheduled you will see a coloured box with the event title information. If you want to hide recurring recordings toggle the "show recurring events?" checkbox.


The blue line indicates the current time on the current day so you can see which events are currently being recorded or about to be recorded.


Use the arrow buttons to browse upcoming/past days. Click the "Today" button to return to the current day. To refresh the calendar view to reflect newly scheduled events, click the "refresh calendar" button.


List



The list view shows all the scheduled events in the highlighted week. Use the arrow buttons to browse upcoming/past weeks. The coloured dot next to the item indicates the event type.


Failed or partial recordings are most likely due to stream disconnections. If you have any questions about recordings that have errored on your account please raise a ticket with our support team.


Adding New Events

By clicking on a blank time (or date in month view) you will have the option of adding an event. This will open the 'add event' page with the event start/end times and dates prefilled with the times/date selected.

Deleting Events

On any view, clicking an event will open an info window about it. from this window, you will see the option to delete the event. 


Deleting a recurring event will delete all upcoming instances of that recurring event as well. It will not delete already-recorded Items associated with the recurring event.
