When you first sign-up for Timbre, we will create your account and confirm the email that your account has been set up under. This article details the steps you need to take to log in and set up your account.

Signing In

On the first login, head to https://timbrecms.sharp-stream.com/login, and click “forgot password?”. This will allow you to set up your own password to ensure the security of your account. 


To access your Timbre Preferences once logged in, click on your name/avatar in the top right and hit the preferences button, alternatively click on the gear icon pictured on the bottom left of your sidebar.



Change Account Details

Here you can change the name and password associated with your Timbre account.


Change Profile picture

If you have a Gravatar account, your Timbre profile picture will automatically default to that image. If you wish to add a different profile picture, head to Other Settings -> Profile Picture where you can select/crop an image from your local storage (Images will be resized to 256 x 256 on upload).


Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

To best secure your profile, we recommend enabling Two-Factor Authentication. This will allow you to add another layer of security when logging in. Simply toggle the Two-Factor Authentication setting to "On" and you will receive a confirmation code in your email inbox upon your next login.


When you log in to Timbre for the first time on a particular device, you will be prompted to enter the code. When you paste the code into the form, the device will be remembered for 2 months.
