In this article, we will demonstrate how to make use of the Historical Reports feature in Portal to view live connections.


Accessing Historical Reports.

There are two methods by which to view the historical connections of your station.


Method 1: Dashboard

Log on to Portal and navigate to the Dashboard. From this landing page you will be able to see all stations assigned to your Portal account and you can toggle through the stations' Historical Reports by selecting the graph button under Actions.



Method 2: Station Page


To view the Historical Reports for a specific station only, navigate to the Station page. You can do this by selecting the station in the Dashboard, navigating to Stations and selecting it from the list or by searching for it in the search bar in the top left corner. 



After reaching your station page, scroll down to the analytics section and select 'Historical'.



Using Historical Reports.

When using the 'Quick Search' function, simply select one of the predetermined time frames.


If you want to 'Search a Time Frame,' you can simply select the start and end date in the fields provided. After you have selected the start and end date, hit the 'Search' button in order to process and display that data.



Please note that we do not recommend using time frames longer than 100 days. Longer time frames will also increase loading time.
